Marketing Coordinator

This position is a key team member of the CB2 Insights Clinical team, who can work in a fast-paced, multi-state environment. A proven track record of successful cold calls, business development and an entrepreneurial spirit is vital to being successful in this role. The Marketing Coordinator is critical in supporting both regional and national campaigns. They would work in close collaboration with the Regional Managers to develop and expand our potential patient base.

Responsibilities

• Regional business development and outreach:

• Build partnerships and relationships with local businesses, physicians and specialist groups

• Proactively make 50+ outbound calls a day to drive awareness and make contacts following prescribed messaging and tactics

• Coordinate clinical meetings with said contacts for Regional Managers across multiple territories

• Manage, prepare and execute industry and community events across multiple territories including but not limited to:

• Confirming and booking venues

• Set-up and tear down of each event

• Staffing

• Equipment and promotional items

• Promotion of event via social media, e-newsletters & in-person outreach

• Provide thorough reports of territory progress on a regular basis to Marketing Manager and Regional Managers

• Manage social calendar and actively contribute to social pages across multiple territories

• Develop effective email campaigns and analyze and report on said campaigns

• This position requires the employee to drive routinely on company business. To be eligible for this position, the applicant must have a verified drivers license.

Experience Required

• 2-3 years sales/business development/marketing experience is an asset

• Proven track record of cold calling and new business generation

• Creating and posting content across multiple social media platforms and managing a social calendar

• Executing regional marketing/business development campaigns

Skills Required

• Ability and willingness to drive long distances

• Must have a verified drivers license

• Charismatic and outgoing personality with an entrepreneurial mindset

• Energetic self-starter

• Comfortable making cold calls and striking up conversations in new settings

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• An idea person who is a strategic thinker and results oriented

• Organized with excellent time-management skills

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

• Experience in health care considered an asset

Event Coordinator

Job Responsibilities: 

• Build and maintain partnerships with local, community businesses and associations in multiple areas.

• Source venues for offsite certification events.

• Execute all operational event tasks including but not limited to:

• Confirming and booking venues

• Set-up and tear down of each event

• Staffing

• Equipment and promotional items

• Lead and execute all on-the-ground marketing including but not limited to:

• Visiting local businesses to drop off materials and extend an invitation

• Visiting community centers

• Putting up materials on community bulletins

• Reaching out to local media to promote event

• Extending invitations to all appropriate community members

• Coordinate cross-marketing with event partner(s) and provide them with all necessary materials.

• Coordinate print and digital marketing materials needed with Marketing Coordinator.

• Analyze results after each event and provide a thorough wrap-up report.

• Perform other event-related duties as required.

Job Type: Part-time, hourly, with opportunity for commission

Experience: 2-3 years’ experience event coordination or event management experience

Sales experience is an important asset

Senior Accounting Specialist

Job Responsibilities: 

• Oversee accounting activities, approving AR and AP transactions and processing invoices and payments.

• Evaluate, improve, and implement accounting procedures and workflows and financial management systems.

• Provide cross-functional financial support, administering payroll, assisting with quarter and annual closing, and performing audits.

• Provide accounting assistance to customers, responding to inquiries, recommending actions, and reconciling account issues.

• Coordinate annual budget activities and processes, maintaining and tracking budget accounts, schedules, and reconciliations.

• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.

• Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.

• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.

• Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned.

• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.

• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.

• Assist corporate accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.

• Assist with other accounting projects.

Experience: Proven experience as a senior accounting specialist

Education: BSc/Ba in accounting, finance or relevant field

ACA, ACCA or CIMA is a plus but not required
